About the Role

The role will appeal to a skilled carpenter either at foreman level, or with the ambition to step up. You will have sound residential building experience, keen to work on a variety of quality projects offering the opportunity to develop your skills. You will have exposure to all aspects from set up to project handover, and the chance to learn and improve your craftmanship working in a positive progressive team where you can enjoy your work and develop your skills and career. Key responsibilities include;

• Set out to final handover of keys – opportunity to contribute to all aspects of a project
• Read and analyse plans to determine requirements
• Ensure accuracy of work and finish – develop your craftmanship
• Communicate with other trades professionals and colleagues to ensure project completed in a timely manner
• Effectively use a large range of hand and power tools

Your skills and experience

You will have the following experience and strengths;

• Experience in essential aspects of residential construction
• You have great attention to detail, design, and interpreting plans
• You have an adaptable can do attitude, work well in a team, and keen to make a value added and measurable impact 
• Organised and able to meet deadlines
• You are respectful, fit, healthy, and reliable
• Ideally hold a current drivers licence and white card
